Today, Gameloft announced the Duo Gamer controller. It's a $80 Bluetooth Controller for iOS devices, and it's approved by Apple. Yes, this is the first Apple-certified game controller.
Perhaps Apple should have rejected this for bad design, because this thing looks hideous. It's a plastic brick with an ugly colour scheme for buttons. What were they thinking? Also, the controller only works with five Gameloft games at the moment - Asphalt 7, Brothers in Arms 2, Modern Combat, Order & Chaos Online, and N.O.V.A. 3.
For $20 more, you could get the Xbox 360 Arcade and play full-console games. I'm not sure why anyone would spend $80 to play mobile games with a cruddy controller. Video after the break.
