Sony Nexus X is fake

Mean people at Anatomy of a Hoax revealed today that they faked the above image of the Sony Nexus X. Sony Nexus X doesn't exist, and Sony has no immediate plans of building a Nexus device.

What is fascinating is that the above photo isn't a work of simple Photoshop trickery. They generated the photo through hours of 3D model work based on existing Sony and Nexus designs. Anatomy of a Hoax did all this to demonstrate consumer interest in a Sony Nexus to Google.

What a bummer. I wish it were real.
