Fujitsu announced plans to bring their PalmSecure technology to mobile devices near you. PalmSecure technology provides biometric authentication system based on palm vein pattern recognition technology. Blood vein patterns are unique to every individual, even among identical twins.

The new 5mm thick sensor is one of the first contactless biometric sensor specifically designed for mobile devices. We could see this tiny sensor on future smartphones and tablets. Imagine just waving your hand above your smartphone, instead of having to type in an alphanumeric password everytime you buy an app! Please take my money, I want this now.
