Canadian Gamers, show off your skills at the World Cyber Games!

Samsung and World Cyber Games have teamed up to find the best Canadian gamers to represent Canada at the WCG Grand Final. Anyone in Canada can register for free to compete in three official gaming titles: StarCraft II, FIFA 12, and Cross Fire. If you think you got what it takes to be the world's best gamer, sign up now for the online qualifying round!

Participants will use Samsung Series 7 Gaming Laptop to show off their skills. Andrew Barrett, VP Marketing for Samsung Canada, says:

No matter what your gaming passion, Samsung has you covered - from serious gaming on Series 7, to on-the-go play with the Galaxy S III, to the interactive Angry Birds experience on our SMART TVs we invite gamers of all abilities to test their skills during the regional tournaments.

There will be three regional finals, including one in Vancouver (where we are based). Here's the schedule:

  • Online qualifying tournament (all three game titles) – September 28-30, 2012
  • Central regional finals (StarCraft II and FIFA 12 only) – October 19 – 21, 2012 at Toronto Eaton Centre’s Albert’s Way Promotion Court (outside Swarovski), 220 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON
  • Western regional finals (StarCraft II and FIFA 12 only) - October 26 – 28, 2012 at Metropolis at Metrotown Atrium Court, 4700 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC
  • Eastern regional finals (StarCraft II, FIFA 12) and Cross Fire national final - November 2 – 4, 2012 at Complexe Desjardins Grande-Palace, 150 Ste. Catherine St. West, Montreal QC

Winners will win a trip to represent Canada at the 2012 WCG Grand Final in Kushan China.
